Almost Done!

I've been working on this last week, in hopes to get it done last weekend or certainly by Tuesday. Now I have a plan that involves some fancy framing like Virginie Ropars.

Motivation

I haven't been able to work on my clay guys for days. I'm excited to, but I've been busy with the holidays. I ordered my first eyes of several sizes and some hair for my project. The first time I will have experience with any other these materials. I'm excited. Mohair, raw and bleached/white. The glass eyes are "real eyes" and in sized 6,8 & 10 and several colors.

The Start

Today is the first day of what I hope to be a promising beginning. I will begin art dolls today. I've done some in the past, and have been pleased at the life that seems to be captured within them. I realize that I need to create. It's my being. I love writing music, but to hold a little face in your hands... that's something else altogether wonderful.

I am starting with a project for a Christmas present. A dog and angel. We'll see how that goes. ;)
