Vampires!

More drawing today! I was inspired to draw some vampires. Edward and Bella are the first entries from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer. I don't like the original movie poster because Edward looks a little demented, so I pasted a new head on. :)

And the second drawing today of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel the Vampire.

New Website Art; Secret Reveal 1

Here are a couple quick sketches I've done for my new website Www.EmilyJayne.com that will be revealed along with my upcoming album "Blue Plate Fellas."

Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter Work In Progress

In anticipation of the new movie Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, I've been inspired to draw a portrait of Daniel Radcliffe as Harry Potter. It's not done, but here's about half way:

Pencil Drawing: Daniel Craig

I have recently been motivated to work on some portrait drawings again. I haven't done any in atleast 10 years. The inpspiration comes from thinking about faces for clay, I'm sure. I figure doing some flat portraits will definately allow me to brush up on getting used to looking at faces. I realized a trend however. The portraits I like are high contrast and if I can work some hands into it, even better. I'm stuck with my first clay angel; a fear of doing hands. I also need to get some more contrast with the face coloring. Victor's a whole other story.

Daniel Craig was a challenge! My first drawing like this in over 12 years. It's still rough behind the ears, but here's the sketched out version.
